Having successfully run a British computer consultancy called Risc Key Developments, Rich Teer decided to move to Canada, and set up another company. After some debate, he decided on the name Rich Teer Enterprises, which could handily be abbreviated to Rite. "I thought that Rite was a good name," explained Rich, "because it could apply to any business, and it's a play on the word 'right'".

Starting with a web hosting and computer consultancy company, Rich has grand plans for the future: "I want to create a brand that is globally recognised as being synonymous with excellent products and services, outstanding customer service, and great value for money".
